Founded on a Dream of Childhood
East Kentucky ABA was founded to help change the field of ABA for the better. Our goal is to provide high‑quality, collaborative care for neurodiverse children, where every child is respected, heard, and genuinely loved throughout treatment. We believe ABA should feel safe, affirming, and focused on building real‑life independence. EKYABA was founded by Shana Green, a former special education teacher turned BCBA. Shana has a deep passion for supporting neurodiverse learners and finding fun, meaningful ways to help them grow skills, gain confidence, and thrive in their everyday lives.
Our Philosophy
01
Individuality
We respect every child as a unique individual with boundless potential, nurturing their innate curiosity and unique path of growth.
02
Community
Building a strong foundation of social bonds, we create a supportive environment where children learn the value of friendship and togetherness.
03
Creativity
Imagination is our compass. Through playful, ABA-based activities like pretend play, games, and creative projects, we help children practice communication, problem-solving, and flexibility in ways that feel fun and natural—not like “work.”
04
Nature
Connecting little hearts with the natural world helps our neurodiverse learners feel calm, curious, and grounded. We use outdoor play, sensory exploration, and nature‑based activities to practice real‑life skills in a way that feels safe, joyful, and meaningful for each child.
